Introduction
A new riverside community for Colchester
Welcome to the consultation website for the emerging redevelopment proposals for Colchester Riverside, a project being brought forward by Elder. Our vision is to create a new riverside neighbourhood that reconnects the existing site with the surrounding area, regenerating a semi-derelict brownfield site to deliver new homes, community spaces and landscaped routes that link into nearby parks and the city centre.
The proposals seek to regenerate an underused part of the city and establish new connections between the river, Castle Park and the city centre. We are committed to working closely with Colchester City Council, local residents and stakeholders to ensure the scheme reflects Colchester’s heritage, character and future ambition.
We welcome your feedback as we continue to refine the plans.
